This paper provides an overview of how Computer Assisted Interpreter Training (CAIT) has evolved within the field conference interpreting and its contribution to modernising both teaching learning this profession. After summarising what other authors have studied in depth, it goes on critically analyse extent technological pedagogical innovations shared a common evolution challenges that interpreter training will face future.
